Editorial Black Tie · Bespoke

A wedding experience designed from nothing, for a wedding that is not like the others.

Not a direction — a drawing. Custom design, custom animation, unusual workflows and the integrations a template cannot reach.

Editorial Black Tie — the owner-approved design direction for this wedding style
Editorial Black Tie · the approved design direction The names printed in this reference are from our own design storyboard. This page imagines Olivia & James — a black-tie evening, city light. A demonstration couple, shown so you can picture your own wedding here. Not a customer, and not a review.

Why this package

Who it is for

Couples who will not accept a template-led result

Fifteen approved directions cover most weddings extremely well, and we will say so if yours is one of them. Bespoke exists for the wedding that has a specific idea already, or a constraint that no template anticipated.

What it inherits

Everything in Connected, underneath the design

Bespoke is not a separate product line. The whole Signature build and the whole Connected service sit underneath it. What changes is that the surface is drawn for you rather than chosen from a set.

The scope

Custom design, animation, integrations, workflows

True custom design — not a direction, a drawing. Custom animation. Special integrations. Unusual workflows. Registry and hotel integrations. Advanced seating is included in the price and is not built yet. Each is scoped honestly on a call before anything is agreed — a starting price is a starting price, and pretending otherwise is how a quote becomes an argument.

Said plainly

A starting price, and why there is no checkout here

Bespoke starts at a price and goes up with scope. There is no self-serve checkout and no invented deposit split on this page, because the owner has not set one and making one up would be charging a real person against a commercial term nobody agreed.

Before the call

The concierge qualifies, so the call is short

Tell it what you are imagining. It will say whether Bespoke is genuinely required or whether Connected reaches it, what is buildable, and what is not currently possible at any price — before anyone books an hour.

Being built for Bespoke, not yet live

It is included in what you are paying for and we will build it, but it does not exist yet — so we are not going to tick it as something you can use on the day you sign.

  • Advanced seating

Not live yet — anything that leaves the system

Nothing in The Guestbook sends to your guests today. Announcements are recorded for you to see and act on, never delivered, and that is a deliberate choice rather than an outage — so we do not tick it as something you are buying.

  • Scheduled emails to your guests, on your say-so
  • Announcements to the right group at the right time
  • SMS to guests

Being built, not yet live

It is not part of what you are paying for today, and we will not pretend otherwise.

  • End-of-wedding keepsake flow

These items are included in the price and are not available to use today. We complete the site features before you approve your site and pay the balance; the end-of-wedding keepsake comes after your wedding. We agree your wedding timeline with you at booking. If we fail to deliver work you paid for, we refund the undelivered portion under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Guestbook Care is optional on every package: the first 3 months are included, then $49 a month until you cancel. It is never ticked for you.

The Story Concierge

I am the Story Concierge — an automated assistant, not a person. Everything I tell you about packages, prices and what is included comes straight from The Guestbook's real product records, and if I do not know something I will say so and pass you to a human rather than guess.

Tell me about your day and I will point you at the right package — when you are getting married, roughly how many guests, the look you have in mind, and how much of it you want us to run.

The concierge needs JavaScript. Here is the same conversation, in one paragraph.

The four things that decide your package: your wedding date, roughly how many guests, the style you want, and whether you want it handed over finished or run with you.

  • Signature, $699 — Everything a wedding website needs, built for you and handed over ready. Book it yourself.
  • Connected, $1,099 — Signature, plus we run it with you through the whole engagement. Design call first; there is no checkout for it.
  • Bespoke, $1,799+ — A wedding site designed from nothing, for a wedding that is not like the others. Design call first; there is no checkout for it.

Questions couples actually ask

What makes Bespoke different from Connected?

Connected is our design system, customised deeply and run with you. Bespoke is a design made for your wedding from nothing, and the scope above is what that buys — read it there rather than from a summary here.

How custom can the design actually become?

The surface is fully ours to draw. The engine underneath is the same one every wedding runs on, which is deliberate — it is why a custom design does not cost you the reliable parts. Anything structural gets scoped on the call rather than promised here.

Is Bespoke necessary for our wedding?

Often it is not, and we will tell you. Ask the Story Concierge before you book a call — it reads the real package records and is allowed to recommend the cheaper tier.

How does pricing work for a starting-at package?

The figure on this page is where scope begins. The final number comes from the design call, in writing, before any work starts. Third-party costs we buy for you — a domain, a licensed image, a paid integration — are quoted and approved by you first.

What can you not do?

Anything that sends to your guests. No guest email, no SMS, no scheduled announcements — not at any tier and not at any price, today. It is a deliberate architectural refusal rather than a backlog item, and no amount of budget moves it this season.

What happens on the design call?

We go through the wedding, what you are imagining, what is buildable in the time before your date, and what it costs. You leave with a scope and a number. Nothing is charged to arrange it.

Anything deeper than these, ask the Story Concierge above — it answers from the same records this page is built from.
